I actually purchased two of them. I researched "car seats" to death before deciding on this one. I have a two-year-old (almost three) and a one-year-old that will be using these car seats. I was worried that they might end up being "cheap" since I was buying online, and couldn't see them in person, but that wasn't the case! The car seats are very sturdy, the chest clip is strong and sturdy, the fabric is very soft, and seems durable. They were a breeze to install in my van, both forward-facing. I love how easy the LATCH straps are to adjust, both tighten and loosen. There is a button to press on the LATCH strap to make it easy to loosen for removing the seats.The reclining feature is to make the seat at the correct angle to fit snugly against the back of the bench seat, and to recline the seat to a 45� angle for rear-facing infants. I love how you don't have to rethread the harness straps in order to adjust the height... (One for my car, one for my husband's)We have been using it for over a year for my now 19 month old. Rear facing only fit in the middle seat of my Ford Focus and my husband's Chevy Aveo, but we knew it would be tight since we both own compacts. Now that she is forward facing the seat can be placed in any back seat of our vehicles. This car seat is slimer than my Graco car seat I got for a baby shower present (it is my car seat that is kept at grandma's) and the Graco has to be rethreaded everyime a height change was made, which means you have to remove the car seat, rethread , and then reinstall. Too much work. The easy adjust made it easy to take my 3 year old niece on a shopping trip for her birthday (left my daughter with the rest of the family) and when we put my daughter back into the seat it was just turn the handles and let it drop...
