She's 3 1/2 and I wanted a carseat that converts to a high-back booster since she's getting bigger by the minute. She seems to find it comfortable and she loves the bright flowered print. The carseat was easy to install and very easy to adjust the straps. My only complaint is that it didn't come with strap covers for her chest/neck. I had to buy some separately. Overall, well worth the money spent! It safely holds my granddaughter and locks into place via the LATCH anchors. You'll need a pad underneath the seat to prevent permanent indentations in the car seat if it's left installed since the base is not a flat surface but sharp ridges. We were on a budget so price was the primary reason for choosing this car seat, but it turned out great! The seat fabric might not be as nice and cushy as more expensive ones, but my 6-month-old is perfectly comfortable and well protected in this seat. No unnecessary bells and whistles to make it bulky or heavy! Pros: - Light-weight and narrow. I'm petite and not very strong at all, but it was very easy for me to get it in and out of my car or carry it up and down the stairs. It's pretty narrow so I bet you can fit 3 of them in the back of a Sedan! - Easy to recline. There's a piece underneath the seat and all you have to do is to just flip it forward for rear-facing, and flip it backwards for forward-facing. You can not recline the seat when the car seat is already installed in the car, but most likely you will be using it for one kid and won't have to adjust the recline all the time so it's not a problem. - Easy to adjust the shoulder... This review is from: Evenflo Tribute 5 Convertible Car Seat, Saturn (Baby Product) I dont personally have kids, but in order to steal my nephew for an afternoon I needed to get a nice car seat that my sister (first time mom) would approve of. She personally paid over $300 for her car seat and she told me there was lots of swearing and sweat as her husband attempted to install their expensive top of the line car seat. I paid pennies for this car seat and it was super easy to install, had good reviews already and was super easy to take in and out of the car. My nephew is comfortable and its really easy to pull him out of the car and put him in. I also must say that this seat is compact. My sisters expensive car seat makes it impossible to sit other people in the back seat cause its sooo overly bulky. But this car seat is slimmer without loosing out on any protection or padding. I can fit 2 people NO problem in the back of the car. I highly recommend this car seat to any new parent or an aunty looking to have a spare car seat! I bought this since it would be temporary, but am horrified. First, It doesn't sit flat on our seat (never had a problem before with other seats in our Nissan Rogue), and there's no way to adjust that. Other infant bases have a way to position it, but this one, you're kind of stuck with how it is. My son was almost sitting upright! Ok, so we took it off the base and used it with the seatbelt (without the latch system or base) and that helped that issue. Second, the sides are so low that he looks like he's sitting up OUT of the seat a bit! Both the other infant seats I've used (Graco and Chicco) felt like a bucket, so the baby was cradled inside. This one, he's just "out there", and if there were an accident, I'd be afraid of how he'd be handled. Finally, there is absolutely NO cushion to this. It is super hard, and the... This is the ONLY car seat we could use for her...it's made for "the tiniest travelers"..with 4 adjustable slots for the shoulder harness and 3 slots for the butt harness it was perfect! Every other infact car seat we saw had a minimal weight of 5 lbs. I read the other comment and didn't have any of those issues.
