He is almost 4 years old now and we have had this seat for about 2 years. LOVE IT!!! it is really easy to install and take out, and SUPER easy to clean. the only down side to it is that my son is able to unlatch the buckle across his chest (which has only RECENTLY become a problem). aside from that it fits well in all the cars/trucks/vans we have put it in without any problems. it doesnt take up a lot of space! son seems to be very comfortable in it even when he falls asleep. I will be getting another one here shortly due to that fact that my daugther will be moving up in carseats!! I want both my kids in a car seat that i think is safe! He loves his "big boy" seat and I loved the price and positive reviews I read on it. My only con would be that the buckle is more difficult to click and the button is stiffer than his previous Graco and Cosco seats. I have to work a little harder at getting him in and out. I thought I understood the law until my wife was in an automobile accident. A neighbor crashed into our car due to poor visibility. The insurance company totaled our car, and surprising to me, totaled our child's car seat as well. When asked, the company explained that the law dictates their action if the child's seat can no longer be certified as safe. So I found my self looking for a good replacement (with insurance money).I examined the options carefully and selected the Safety 1st Vantage High Back Booster Car Seat. This product looked great in the ad and the features described appear to be the best available. So I bought this product (in a different fabric that is no longer available) and the insurance company paid for it without any complaint. My grandson actually likes this seat better than the old one.
